went to pick up my new engine today. a 2.7 eta.

it is the 129 hp version, so some serious engine tuning can start.

it will be combined with a polished alpina 325i head with sharper 'nokkenwelle'. an intake by racing dynamics with polished and wider ports, a spaghetti exhaust by alpina and a bit of chiptuning.

still figuring out what other tricks can be used to gain more power or what setup will be used concerning gearbox etc...

estimated power will be about 200 hp. more is possible as well, but not without braking stuff afterwards (driveshaft and such)

i'll keep you guys informed along the proces.

@ menezes, better start working on that 320is of yours, so i can come and kick your ass with a 'stock' 320i.

hmmm, i seem to know that 320is can be upgraded to about 215hp within safety measurements. more is possible too.

so if that happens i'll get a good beating myself...

on the other hand, the 327 will stay ahaed of the 320is when it comes down to power in low revs.

but it would mean a great deal to me if i could ever drive in a 320is just to know the feeling once... (hint menezes, hint...)

I heard that in Oporto there is one with about 300hp but it was change to a M3 E30 and has things like ECU from AC Schnitzer and other stuff... But never saw it tough.

if you came to Evento Lisboa 2005 I will have the 320is there (well i think so, counting that I don't have any more problems )
