Quantos cavalos tem um 525i antes de 2000 ?!?!? Sao 170 ou 184 ?

o 523i é que tem 170cv
atenção, que de 1996 a 2001 não há 525i na carroçaria dos e39
só há 523i (motor 2500cc) e 530i

Se for um E34 tens um M50 B25 2.5 192cv.
Se for um E39 tens um M54 B25 2.5 192cv.
O E39 em 2.5i foi lançado em finais de 99 início de 2000

Antes do 530i ainda houve o 528i, o 530i surgiu com o restyling.

o correcto ate era 528i e não 530i..

tem mais binario e mais um cavalo hehehe
mas segundo o wikipedia.org faz 7,5s 0-100 e o 525i faz 8.1s, será ?
o 528i usa o M52B28 single vanos ou M52TUB28 double vanos depois de 1998 e o 525i usa o M54B25
sempre achei estranho o 528i ter 2800cc e ter a mesma potencia do 2500cc, obviamente que tem outro binario...
mas por alguma razão o 523i de 170cv apesar de ter mais potencia era só anunciado como 170cv....
curioso tb que no 523i uma das mods em que se saca logo uns 20cvs é usar o colector de admissão do motor M50 anterior
será que tb funciona no 528i ?
ps : andei a ver 528i's em stands para trocar pelo meu petroleiro, o problema é o IUC...

That's true, the M52B28 intake is a lot more restrictive than the M50B25 intake, because BMW needed to limit the 2,8's horsepower rating to 193 horsepower (the insurance companies gave lower premiums for cars with less than 194HP, and many Volvo, BMW, Mercedes, Saab and other engines had this identical HP rating). The M50B25 intake conversion is very effective, especially when combined with a chip or a ECU remap. I've seen some flowbench data of the M52 and the M50 intake, and the M50 flows around 50% better in the whole rev range. Unfortunately, the plastic M50 intake has some supporting bars mounted elswhere, and the fuel rail mounting needs to be modified. These mods should be good for about 230-240HP on the flywheel.

E ao meter os coletores do 525i m50 no 523i é necessária alguma adaptaçao ou tudo encaixa perfeitamente?

procura por "m50 intake"
pelo que li, é straight fit
não é preciso fazer mais nada
