Boas.

Testei hoje os novos mapas para o meu MKIV, experimentei gravar a versão com speedcams em DVD DL.
No entanto e alem de ter seguidos todos os passos indicados, tem alturas que o DVD não é logo reconhecido, ou então demora muito para poder introduzir moradas e assim.
Visto nunca ter conseguido ler um DVD DL no meu sistema, penso que o problema pode ser do firmware (tenho o "4-1/00 http://www.autonavi.l")

Por acaso nos ultimos dois anos consegui gravar à primeira. Mas no outro ano gastei alguns 3 ou 4 DVD´s.
Usa Verbatim -R (acho que é o aconselhando) ou tenta noutro computador sempre à velocidade mais baixa.
Usa o imageburn para gravar.

Eu usei Verbatim, com um gravador externo da LG.
Alem disso foi no ImgBurn, com a velocidade de 2,4.
Será que não é da minha edição do firmware ?
Será possivel instalar outra edição do firmware ???

Boas não sou expert na matéria mas penso que os MKIV não funcionam ainda com DVD DL ? a ultima versão de firmware para MKIV é a V 32- 4-1/00, lê isto do master JPimpao viewtopic.php?f=96&t=31742

O MKIV le sim DVD DL tendo a ultima versão de firmware (exactamente a que tu indicaste), no entanto no meu caso isto não está a acontecer como deve ser.
Ou seja quando consigo ler o DVD, é uma leitura de dados muitos lenta, e com bloqueios.
No GPS Underground, já me disseram que pode ser derivado á própria drive de leitura, ao que parece algumas drives deixam de ler DVD DL, ficando assim mais restringidas aos DVD SL.
No entanto gostava de testar outra edição do firmware V 32- 4-1/00, alguém sabe onde eu posso encontrar isso, sem ser a edição que eu tenho ??
No caso de continuar a não dar, vou tentar editar eu próprio a versão DL para SL, claro que primeiro tenho que aprender a fazer isso. LOOL«

Acabei por optar por uma versão SL...
Ouvi dizer que pro ano, já deve sair a edição em dois DVD-SL e não um DVD-DL.
Para agora desenrasquei....

Companheiro, podes confirmar como "optaste" pela versão SL ? Eu penso que preciso fazer o mesmo no meu (Business), pois acontece-me o mesmo. "instalou" inicialmente, mas depois leva muito tempo para disponibilizar a procura de endereço, e acaba depois por aparecer que não é possivel ler o ficheiro...

Na versão High, alem da mesma originalmente ser em DVD-DL, existem versões ripadas em SL, onde são retirados alguns pontos de interesse ( no caso da minha, não tem os restaurantes), alem disso só tem a linguagem em Espanhol (tudo isto para caber dentro de um DVD-SL),
Na tua edição, gravas em DVD-DL ou DVD-SL??

DL...em SL não cabe!!! :/
Eu dispensava as outras linguas, ficando com o Frances, se isso fizesse caber num SL...mas não faço a minima como fazer isso...

Passa pelo GPS Underground, se não encontrares logo a versão SL, é só criar um tópico, que eles explicam logo como deves fazer isso.
