anyway, here is how we did it with my friends car and i used the same method. but be carefull. the guideline is for type I headlights.
in type II headlights, you can only use the thin dde rings. you can not put the covers over them. there is not enough room because of the 'cateye' in the headlight. or you can leave the cateye out of the headlight.
you won't need it anyway because your normal parkinglights will be replaced by the dde rings. it won't affect your normal beams.
