E36 A/C analógico - Problema na unidade que controla

Tenho o AC analógico bizona no e36 só que ele não ligava o AC nem fechava a circulação.
Como tinha o módulo com péssimo aspecto arranjei outro bem melhor e o problema continuou na mesma.
Fui investigando e cheguei à possível conclusão que o problema está na unidade de controlo que está por baixo do isqueiro.
Desliguei a bateria e poucos segundos depois liguei (teste sugerido pela net) e para espanto meu o AC ligou assim como o botão de fechar a recirculação e como previsto voltaram a desligar-se segundos após não ligando mais.

Alguém teve o mesmo problema?

O carro não faz regulação de temperatura também o que também pode vir da mesma unidade ou ser a tal válvula famosa.

Here are two method to solve the problem

Method 1

a) Go to ground floor of Sim LIm Tower and buy a 10k ohm switch and a knob(less than $5). Use a multimeter and find out which two 'legs' of the switch can control 0 to 10k ohms. Solder one wire to each leg of the switch.

b) Locate the climate control unit of the center console just below the cigarette lighter. Look for pin number 22 (grey wire), cut it and join it to the switch.

Method 2 (no $$ needed)

a) Open up the A/C control panel and Utilize any one of the exisiting temperature switch. Disconnect the switch and similarly, you need to Use a multimeter and find out which two 'legs' of the switch can control 0 to 10k ohms. Solder one wire to each leg of the switch.

Pin 22 onde liga o fio cinzento e não percebo o que sugerem que faça, a parte do cortar e ligar ao botão nem que botão ou interruptor será esse.
